Beloved Daughter of the Failed Lich (version 2)

While traveling through the wilderness, the party discovers a scorched and strangely metallic-looking menhir on its side, seemingly toppled over by the shifting root system of a recently fallen tree beside it. Etched on the menhir in weather-beaten letters are the words:

HERE LIES LUM BANTHUK
BELOVED DAUGHTER OF THE FAILED LICH

A conveniently humanoid-size gap beneath the uprooted tree’s exposed roots reveals a set of narrow stone stairs leading deep into the earth. The stale air from the tunnel smells faintly of ozone...

Beloved Daughter of the Failed Lich is a 31-room dungeon featuring a necromancer's dread machine that casts spells, raises the undead, contacts creatures from other planes of existence, and sets an electrified golem on the loose to stalk your players. The necromancer also built a shrine to Xng, the patron of lightning and life, whom your players can contact and even serve as its acolytes--provided they first find Xng's relic, the Thunderous Flail, hidden somewhere in the dungeon. Poor Lum, the necromancer's beloved daughter, can also be found within--but is she dead, undead, or something else?
